Wilson Valdez- Awesome!
The Mets put infielder Alex Cora on the 15-Day disabled list, retroactive to August 13. He will have season ending surgery on his thumbs, which he injured a couple months ago. Thanks Alex, you couldn’t last a few more fuckin games? Honestly, I do respect the guy for playing through an injury. That’s a lot more than I can say for the other morons on the DL, not counting David Wright. I give him a pass. Below is our $85 million Disabled List

Wilson Valdez was promoted from Farmingdale Youth Baseball to replace Cora – he will be available for tonight’s game. That’s fucking awesome news, right?
