Stunner- Mets Win Streak at 2

Published by Mikey Mets at 9:45 pm under Mets News, The Mets

The New York Mets have won for the second straight game.  I have one word to describe it… unfuckingbelievable!

Bobby Parnell went 6 innings, and gave up only 3 hits with 7 K’s.  He threw 86 pitches, with 61 strikes, all of which were… wait for it…wait for it… fastballs.   That’s all he knows how to throw.  Someone must have dropped Xanex into the Giants’ Gatorade, because how they missed all those meatballs, I’ll never know.  Ok, fuck it, I’ll tell you the truth, I dropped Xanex into their Gatorade.  Keep that on the down low.

I only used this many Xanax per 16 ounces of Gatorade, I did not want to hurt them.

The Mets offense was definitely not that explosive, as if that came as any surprise, but they managed to score 3 times while scattering 5 hits.  Angel Pagan led the game off with a homer to deep left.  I like this Pagan kid, I think he has a lot of potential.  He just needs to stay healthy for more than 3 weeks at a time.  Jeff Francoeur doubled in Luis Castillo, who also scored another run on Gary Sheffield’s ball sac fly.

K-Rod actually pitched a decent inning tonight to get the save (26).

I was so excited for the victory, that I had to run outside and drop this shit pictured below.  Johan Santana faces Matt Cain in tomorrows game.  May the fuckin force be with us!

HEY! think about putting speed in the mets drinks, whats there to lose? – we’ve already lost the season……3 most important things on my mets to-do list – 1. Fire minaya and manuel 2. trade reyes (sorry all you reyes fans!) 3. Hire good old keith hernandez as manager (and maybe player!)

I second all of those motions, except for maybe the Reyes thing. We will need a first baseman now that Delgado is not coming back. So Hernandez is perfect. I am also looking into bringing back Gary Carter behind the plate, and Strawman in Right.
