Santana is Done- Stick a Fork in Him
New York Mets players told MLB.com, they are expecting ace, Johan Santana, will require surgery to fix a lingering elbow issue.
Surgery is a given, but what kind of surgery is the question? Word on the streets is, that Johan Santana will not require major reconstructive surgery on his left elbow, but may need corrective surgery which will allow him to be ready for the 2010 season.
Santana was scratched from his start on Tuesday at Florida and will reportedly have his elbow examined today, after which point season-ending surgery will most likely be required.
“He has not been throwing between starts for quite a while. I would say since before the All-Star break. He has been pitching with this problem, but not with the level of discomfort he has now.” Manuel Said. “Now, it concerns him.” I appreciate your analysis, Jerry, you fuckin moron.
Yeah, well, it concerns the shit out of me. What else could possibly go wrong? I mean, barring a team plane going down, and, if that was the case, none of our All-Stars would be on it, so even that would not be that bad. Wait a minute, scratch that last comment, that’s horrible… lord, forgive me for that one right there, that is just not right.
Anyway, as far as Johan goes, stick a fork in him, he is done…

Fake injury. Read my comment from yesterday.
